I'm a New Zealand girl with big dreams, far too many hobbies and a heart full of nostalgia. A major empath, a lover of romanticising the little things and an active relaxer through and through. 

Funny enough, I actually failed high school textiles when I was younger, and was told by more than a few teachers that pursuing a career in fashion wouldn't get me very far. So, I took a different path and studied to become a teacher.

For the past 12 years, I've been a Year 7 teacher, a career I've absolutely adored. I've also had the privilege of being a team leader and mentor teacher too, and teaching will forever hold such a special place in my heart.

But throughout those years, I've also been busy building My Keeper (hectic I know, do not ask me how I have done it...)

And now, in 2027, I'm finally taking the leap and giving My Keeper my whole heart and my full-time attention.

I'm excited, nervous, a little terrified and just about every emotion in between. But more than anything, I'm incredibly grateful to everyone who has helped me get here!

It's funny how life works out sometimes. The girl who failed textiles is now making a living from sewing patterns.
